This tournament is open to members of the SoCal Division who are US citizens or permanent residents. Final Check-in times for each event will be posted on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Deadline to register is Thursday, March 24, 2022.

NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR FOR THESE EVENTS. This is the SoCal Division Qualifier for Men's and Women's Div 2/3 and Y14 events in all 3 weapons for Summer Nationals. The SoCal Division 2021-2022 Summer National Qualifier is open to members of the SoCal Division who are US citizens or permanent residents and meet the following eligibility requirements: Y14: Born 2007-2010 or Y12 National Points DV2: Born 2008 or earlier, and a rating of C, D, E or U DV3: Born 2008 or earlier, and a rating of D, E or U We will not allow fencers to participate if their membership does not show Southern California as their division on the USFA website. Please make sure USFA has this on file by March 24th, 2022. Fencers are required to show Proof of USFA Membership required, proof of age (Passport, Drivers license, birth certificate) unless age verified with USFA, proof of Vaccination record or Negative PCR Covid test result with test performed 72 hours prior to event. Each fencer is allowed 1 spectator. Proof of Covid vaccination or Negative PCR Covid test result with test performed 72 hours prior to event upon entry. Payments will be collected at check in. Cash or Check made out to "USFA, SoCal Division." DEADLINE TO REGISTER is March 24, 2022 on Askfred. If you are unable to compete due to financial difficulties, please email us for rules and regulations regarding SoCal Division Qualifier Fee Waivers. Events will start about 15 minutes after the close-of-check-in times. Once the event has started, no late entries will be accepted. Event schedule is subject to change and may be updated one week before the tournament depending on the number of entries in each event. Fencers who finish in the top 25% of their events will qualify for the Summer Nationals. For complete qualifying and appeal information, please refer to the 2021-22 Athlete Handbook which can be downloaded from the USA Fencing website. Full equipment control will be in effect. Fencers will be required to submit masks, gloves, lames, and body cords for inspection. When determining who has qualified for a Championship, only fencers who qualify through National Points are skipped over to the next eligible fencer. COVID PROTOCOLS for Everyone inside the venue: In alignment with USFA COVID Protocols: MASK MANDATE All participants in USA Fencing sanctioned events, including coaches, athletes, spectators, and staff, MUST wear a facemask that covers their mouth and nose at all times, including competition. PROOF OF VACCINATION Individuals who have completed a COVID vaccine series (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Novavak, Sinovac, Sinopharm, Covaxin, or CoronaVac) 14 days prior to arrival at the venue will NOT need to obtain a negative PCR or antigen test result. COVID-19 Testing for Medical or Religious Exempt Individuals PCR test results must be within 72 hours prior to arrival at the venue. Proof of your negative COVID-19 test result and exemption must be presented at registration for verification. LIMITATIONS ON SPECTATORS Only 1 spectator is allowed per fencer.
