Come compete in Tim Morehouse Fencing Club's state of the art fencing club featuring live-streamed bouts and full-length metal strips! Tim Morehouse Fencing Club's Youth Cup competitions are youth-level tournaments designed for young fencers to gain valuable competition experience in a competitive environment. TMFC Youth Cup competitions are fantastic competitions for both new and experienced competitors alike. Location: Tim Morehouse Fencing Club - Manhattan 210 West 91st New York, NY 10023 *All times represent the close of check-in. Event start times are subject to change. Any change to event start times will be communicated to competitors via the email address registered with AskFRED, posted on the event page, and posted on our website. It is the fencer’s responsibility to ensure that the email associated with their AskFRED account is correct. Registration fee: $25 Event fee: $25/event *Fees can be paid on Askfred or paid at the door on the day of the competition. Non-club members must pay via cash or check. Competitive membership to the United States Fencing Association (USFA) is required to compete. Full USFA regulation uniform is required. Events will have one round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination round. No fence off for third place. Medals awarded to Top-8 finishers. Contact email: info@timmorehousefencing.com Forgot equipment? Tim Morehouse Fencing Club has a pro shop where you can pick up any item you may have forgotten on competition day. We stock everything from masks, to blades, to body cords, and even carry bags. If your fencer needs it, we have it. We are following all CDC coronavirus guidelines. Cloth or medical masks will be required both when fencing and when resting (except while eating/drinking), temperature checks will be conducted at the door, and social distancing requirements must be followed. All non-competitors will be asked to wait outside the facility in their vehicles to ensure there is adequate space for social distancing. Hand shaking and the signing of score sheets will be suspended for this competition. Tim Morehouse Fencing Club reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any persons exhibiting flu or cold-like symptoms and those failing to follow CDC coronavirus guidelines.
