IMPORTANT: The archery range supervisor is GOD. The rifle range supervisor is GOD. Participants must follow all orders and instructions from these safety officers or they will be black carded and asked to leave.
Riflery:
- Shooting will be with .177 caliber air rifles only.
- You may bring your own .177 rifle or you can use the range rifle.
- Bullets will be supplied.
- Target distance is 7 meters.
- You will be allowed to shoot 5 practice shots at a practice target before the scored target shooting takes place.
- You will shoot 10 shots into a target with 10 concentric rings. The outer ring is worth 1 point. The inner ring is worth 10 points. A shot that 'breaks' the line between two rings will be scored at the higher level. The maximum score possible is 100.
- You will have a maximum of 5 minutes to shoot the scored target.
Archery:
- Archery will be with target arrows.
- You may bring your own bow or use the range bow.
- Arrows will be supplied.
- Target will be 18 meters from firing line.
- You will be given an opportunity to shoot 5 practice arrows prior to the scored round.
- You will shoot 10 arrows into a target with 10 concentric rings. The outer ring is worth 1 point. The inner ring is worth 10 points. An arrow that 'breaks' the line between two rings will be scored at the higher level. The maximum score possible is 100.
- An arrow that bounces off the target will be scored using the hole in the target. If there is no hole that arrow will be scored a zero.
- A misfire may be re-shot ONLY if the arrow falls within the reach of the competitor. If the competitor would have to leave the firing line to reach the arrow that shot will be scored as zero.
- You will have a maximum of 5 minutes to shoot the scored target.
Fencing:
- Epee fencing will be electric scored.
- Format is normal USFA rules. One round of pools. No Direct Elimination round will be fenced.
- Points awarded using the touch indicator as a percentage of the maximum touch indicator possible. Maximum score possible is 100.
- You must bring your own gear.
- We are fencing outside in the grass.
- WEAR SHOES WITH GOOD TREAD - FENCING SHOES ARE TOO SLIPPERY!
Victory and tie break formula:
- The highest point total across the three weapons is the winner.
- It is possible a competitor might not finish first in any of the three individual competitions and yet still win the overall.
- In case of a points total tie, the winner will be determined using the touch indicator percentage of possible values from the fencing portion of the competition. If that is also a tie, we will award medals to both competitors.
Not USFA. Just for fun.
