C and Under Mixed SABER - Charity Tournament

Dear fencers and friends: According to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, 27.1% or 16.9 MILLION children in America (ages 3-17) are diagnosed with one the more common mental health disorders. Without help these children tend to perform poorly in school, develop unhealthy lifestyle choices, and engage in self-harm behavior. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, CF&F is hosting this charity tournament to support those kids in need. All proceeds will go to the children's inpatient psychiatric unit at OSU's Harding Hospital. Thank you for your support! Close of REGISTRATION: 12 Noon ENTRY: Open to all C and Under fencers born in year 2006 or before. This event is sanctioned by Columbus Ohio Division of USA Fencing. TOURNAMENT FEES: Registration: $45 if preregistered through askFRED.net; $55 for walk-ins Method of payment: cash (please bring exact change) or check at check in. TOURNAMENT FORMAT: One round of pools with 100% promotion to Direct Elimination rounds. No fence-off for third place.
