Preregistration closes on 03/30/2019. The Carl Herkstroeter Memorial Ooh, Ah, My Back Is Really Hurting Me Today Return to Fencing Tournament! This special event honoring the passing of our longtime friend and mentor is open to fencers who have not fenced in the last three years or longer -- a chance to knock the rust off your blades, squeeze into your old jacket, and get back to fencing the way you've been telling yourself you would. Ice and Ibuprofen will be on hand. Oh, you have fenced int he last three years and still want to come? Great! We'll need some extra hands and eyes for directing, judging, and a few special challenges the competitors will face -- so be sure to be there! The tournament will be followed by our memorial for Carl. And what better way to remember and honor him than to get back to fencing?
