Join the University of Michigan Fencing Team in our Spring Team Tournament. This will be an Olympic-relay (45-touch) style team tournament. The event format will be: 15-touch pools (1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 6, 3 vs. 5) followed by a direct elimination table. All events will be unsanctioned and self-refereed. To ensure we finish on time, we are limiting each event to 10 teams. USA Fencing memberships are not required to fence! We will enforce all current USA Fencing rules, including the new "unwillingness to fence" rule. There will be a $60 event fee per team. Please pay in cash or checks made out to the "Regents of the University of Michigan". Unfortunately, we are not able to host minors at this event. We are as upset about it as you are. After much back-and-forth, this is the decision the Office of Risk Management has come to. Schedule - Doors open: 7 am - Senior Mixed Team Foil: 9 am - Senior Mixed Team Saber: 11 am - Senior Mixed Team Epee: 1 pm - Finished at latest: 7 pm Location and Parking Information This event will be held in the brand-new North Campus Recreation Building, not in the Sports Coliseum we have previously hosted in.
