PLEASE NOTE: Limit ONE team per club. If more than one team per club signs up, the second one will be deleted and there WILL BE NO REFUND. Also, unpaid teams will be deleted if room is needed for a team ready to finalize payment. You do not have to be from the same club to form a team; however, if multiple members from the same club try to form another team under a different name, it will be deleted and you will not be refunded. If you have any questions regarding your team members, please email me. WALK-IN REGISTRATION NOT PERMITTED FOR TEAM EVENTS. TEAM FORMAT: Team event is single elimination with a fence off for third place only. Team events are limited to 8 teams and no more than ONE team per club unless less than 8 register by the deadline. State the name of your group (NEUSFA) to receive the discounted rate. If guests require any special room accommodations, they must stated at the time of making their reservation. If any guests would like to reserve nights outside of the group block or have any questions making a reservation, please refer them to contact me directly. The group discount will be available until May 7, 2018. After that, rooms will be released and the group discount will no longer apply. REMINDER: Event Restrictions: You may fence in only one individual event and/or one team event per day (only those fencing in Vet event are exempt from this rule). If you are in both an individual and team event on the same day, you MUST present yourself at the appropriate strip when called. Team events may not be fenced out of order. REFUNDS - For refund of event fee(s), withdrawals must be received in writing no later than June 2, 2017. Registration fees are nonrefundable. Absolutely no refunds after June 1. Refunds will be processed no later than 4-6 weeks following the tournament. We are not responsible for any askfred website outages and will not make fee adjustments for this reason. Please register in a timely manner to avoid any issues. Payment is required with registration; unpaid preregistrations will be periodically deleted. NO T-SHIRTS FOR FENCERS ONLY COMPETING IN TEAM EVENTS. Registering early helps us to ensure that we have enough qualified referees for this tournament. Please help us and avoid late fees by registering early! Fencers who are only participating in a team event do not need to pay the individual registration fee; however there will be no free t-shirt for this category of participation. $75 per team event. Your team roster does not need to be finalized by the registration deadline, but we request that you provide this information before the event for seeding purposes. The tournament will be held in the Gosman Sports Center at Brandeis University. Weapons Check: Friday 4 - 7 pm Saturday 7 am - end of tournament Sunday 7 am - end of tournament If you are only fencing on Sunday you are encouraged to have your weapons checked on Saturday; please come after 1PM for this. ELIGIBILITY Birth year 2005 or earlier. In any tournament where children can fence with adults, the fencer must be 13 by January 1 of the competition season (August - July). All fencers must be a member of the USFA. Please bring current membership. Checkin will be scanned and you will need your card. If you intend to join the USFA specifically to participate in this event, do so BEFORE the event and bring proof of membership. You must have a competitive membership for this event. Foreign fencers must have a USFA membership. Please go online to USAfencing.org/membership to apply for a foreign membership.
