Join us August 10 & 11 to kickoff the 2019-2020 tournament season with "The Big Blue" annual event @ Mid-South. The champions from each event receive their names immortalized on perpetual trophies. Please take a moment to read the more info page!

August 10 & 11, 2019 is the kickoff to our 2019-2020 tournament season. The top male and top female from each event receives their name immortalized on perpetual trophies. Entry fees are $30 for the first event, $20 for subsequent for fencers pre-registered. Walk-in registrations will be accepted at double fees. Senior Foil, Epee, and Saber will be separated by gender. If there are fewer than 6 participants in a given event, then the events will be combined into mixed. Durham is a fantastic place to visit! Mid-South Fencers' Club is located adjacent to the Historic BrightLeaf District of Downtown Durham, NC. Minutes from Duke University, there is lots to see and do in Durham. Our club is walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, boutique shops, pubs, fine dining, and entertainment. Parking for the competition is available at the BrightLeaf Square lot directly across Gregson Street from the fencing club. Parking is free there on the weekends.
