BCAF - Eat, Drink; Man, Woman; Foil, Epee Team!

Come join us for a strictly fun event! Limited to (12) 2-person teams. $40 / team; CASH ONLY at the door. This is a non-sanctioned event. However, by signing up for this event, you agree to the following waiver: ** Liability waiver - Upon entering this tournament you agree to abide by the current rules of USA Fencing and other applicable rules instituted by BCAF. You acknowledge you are entering this tournament at your own risk and release USA Fencing and its sponsors, BCAF, and referees from any liability. With entry you give consent to BCAF to obtain medical care from any licensed physician, hospital, or clinic for any injury or illness that may arise during activities associated with this tournament. ** All SAFETY rules will be strictly enforced. All that being said, the team event format will run as follows: *Each team will have one man and one woman. *Each team will have one epeeist and one foilist.***(see note) *At the beginning of each round, a coin will be flipped to determine which weapon or sex will fence the first (8) touches (of a 15-touch bout). At (8), the other team members will swap in and finish the bout. *We will do a complete round robin. *Winners get bragging rights! We will order pizza to be delivered about half-way through the event and it will be available for $2/slice. Anyone who's ever done this type of event will tell you how much fun it is.
