Preregistration closes on 4/24/2019 VENUE: The Red River Church is located at the corner of Red River and 45th Street Austin, TX. The gym is the two story building in the corner of the large parking lot. The entrance to the parking lot is on 45th Street. WAIVER: Please download and complete the waiver (see link near top of page) and bring it with you to the competition. FEES: EARLY BIRD through April 6, 2019 - must be PREPAID $20 Registration $10 Per weapon REGULAR FEE from April 7 to April 24, 2019 - must be PREPAID $25 Registration $15 Per weapon Preregistration closes on April 24. Fencers who miss this deadline to register and prepay can register at the door. AT THE DOOR Fees for registering at the door, or for fencers who pregistered but did not prepay: $35 Registration $25 Per weapon For payments at the door: Please make checks payable to Austin Fencers Club. USFA memberships are made by separate checks or credit card. Saturday: 9:00 - Youth 10 Mixed Foil (awards to top 8) 11:30 - Youth 14 Mixed Foil (awards to top 4) 2:00 - Youth 12 Mixed Foil (awards to top 8) AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top 8 in Y10 events. Medals will be awarded to the top 4 in Y12 and Y14 events. (Awards are not gender based) FOIL EVENTS: The Conductive Foil bib is required for all foil events. Fencers will not be allowed to participate in foil events without a conductive bib that passes inspection. PROOF OF AGE Fencers in all events must show proof of age at registration, in one of these formats: - USFA card showing date of birth with VERFIED:YES - copy of birth certificate or passport - government photo ID showing date of birth Note about proof of age: it is a good idea to contact the USFA and provide them proof of age; then the USFA will mark your membership as "Verified:Yes" on your USFA card, and you won't have to bother with additional forms of proof of age any longer.
