Pre-registration and payment ($25 registration and $25 per event) on AskFRED is mandatory! Registration fees are non-refundable. You MUST pay on AskFRED by November 12th for your registration to be considered complete. If there are any issues with online payment, contact Charise Munlin at secretary@georgia-fencing.com. Late registrations MAY be taken at the discretion of the tournament organizers as long as they do not affect strip or referee assignments. Late registrations will be accepted at a cost of the Registration fee PLUS TRIPLE THE ENTRY FEE. Please contact Charise Munlin at secretary@georgia-fencing.com if you need to request this option. Late registrations will NOT be accepted for events with 3 or fewer registered fencers at the time of the registration deadline. There will be no refunds allowed for withdrawals made after the entry deadline of November 12, 2018, except for medical withdrawals. The medical withdrawal must be accompanied by a note from a physician. Medical withdrawals during the tournament are not eligible for refund. Refunds of event fees ($25 per event) will be issued for any events that are not fenced due to event registrations of 3 or fewer fencers after the deadline. Be sure to enter your entire mailing address, including city state and zip code, and who the check should be made payable to during your pre-registration. Emails will be sent via AskFRED to those who will receive a refund. Make sure your email address is updated on your AskFRED profile. Many important event updates will be sent via email. Proper equipment is required. Masks, body cords and lames will be checked by the armorer. USFA membership is required. You must have proof of USFA membership and your membership number at the time of check-in. To become a member please go to www.usfencing.org. Fencers must also show proof of age. Examples of acceptable types of proof, copy of birth certificate, driver's license, state id, USFA membership card that indicates age has been verified. The venue will be open each day at 8:00am Here is the tentative schedule shown by day: Saturday Junior Men's Epee 9am Junior Men's Foil 11am Junior Women's Foil 12:30pm Cadet Men's Epee 2pm Cadet Men's Foil 3pm Cadet Women's Foil 4pm Sunday Junior Women's Epee 9am Junior Men's Saber 11:00am Junior Women's Saber 12pm Cadet Men's Saber 1:30pm Cadet Women's Epee 1:00pm Cadet Women's Saber 4pm THE SCHEDULE IS TENTATIVE. MODIFICATIONS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE CLOSE OF REGISTRATION BASED ON THE ACTUAL NUMBER OF COMPETITORS REGISTERED FOR THESE EVENTS. AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO YOU THROUGH ASK FRED WITH ANY SCHEDULE CHANGES. Cadet is birth years 2002-2005 Junior is birth years 1999-2005 The top 25% finishers of each event will qualify to attend the Junior Olympics. Additionally, any AGE ELIGIBLE fencer who has qualified for Junior event(s) at the Junior Olympics is automatically qualified to fence in the corresponding Cadet event(s) at the Junior Olympics. Fencers who are on the USFA's national rolling points standings are automatically qualified to fence at the Junior Olympics. These fencers do not have to fence in this qualifying event in order to attend the Junior Olympics. They may, however, fence in this qualifier if they choose to.
