WIN A Delta Blue Competition FIE EPEE!

*** We are now in Late Registration period. We still have a few spots remaining, so if you are interested in fencing, please go ahead, register. Each event is limited to 24 fencers. COMPLETED pre-registrations (those with fees paid) have priority. If we do not reach the maximum number of completed pre-registrations, we'll be happy to let walk-ins join and fence ***

This is a USFA-sanctioned mixed epee tournament (for both male and female fencers) for Youth (born in 2005-2010), and for Seniors (born in 2004 or earlier).

We are celebrating the beginning of the sunny season in the California's Central Valley. This is an OUTSIDE tournament (but if it is raining, fencing will be inside)! Fencing is on a well-groomed grass surface right outside the Arnold Rue Center, our main training facility (or on the great Gym floor, if rain makes us fence inside).

Panella Park / Arnold Rue Community Center, 5758 Lorraine Ave, Stockton, CA 95210.

"Delta Blue Competition" high-performance FIE, long-life epee for the first place in the senior event!!! (if 10 or more fencers participate). Delta Blue Standard (standard blade) for the winner of the Youth competition. Both epees feature top-quality components (long-life, well-balanced blade, titanium guard, Uhlmann socket, and FIE-approved Uhlmann screw-less point) and were proven over the years to outlast and outperform!

NOTE: After two years of experience, we are fairly unhappy about the longevity of the Uhmann's FIE screwless point. The award epees will thus come with standard points, but if the winner would prefer screwless, we'll install it and ship your award epee within 48 hours at our expense. We'll also offer a free repair of the point for 12 months.

Pre-registration is open until Wed, Apr 11 or when the maximum number of pre-registrations has been received (each event is limited to 24 fencers). For the pre-registration to be complete, the fee payment is required. If you miss the pre-registration, and there is less then 24 pre-registered fencers, you can register late by e-mailing us at, and pay the fee (listed below) at the door.

- Regular (by the end of the day on May 11): $40
- Late (May 12-14): $60
- On the spot: $90 (please check if we have space for you)

We accept tournament fees payment via AskFRED, cash, and major credit cards (sorry, no checks please). You can also pay online through PayPal - please e-mail us for the invoice. Please let us know ( if you experience any problems trying to pay the tournament fees.

Please note that USFA-sanctioned events require full fencing gear, including knickers, and knee-high socks.
Every fencer needs to report to the fencing strip at the beginning of a bout with two epees and two body cords.
Names on the uniforms are not required at this event.
If you are short on gear, we'll be happy to lend you our club equipment (masks, gloves, chest plates, plastrons, jackets, epees and body cords) for use at this tournament. To reserve the equipment, please let us know in person, over the phone (209 507-2633), or e-mail us ( Equipment rental is free for Delta Fencing Center members, and $5 per piece for fencers that represent other clubs.
