For fencers who have participated in 5 or fewer fencing competitions. This event is NOT sanctioned by USA Fencing's New Jersey Division. Senior event open to fencers born 2004 or earlier. Youth event open to fencers born 2003 - 2011. Medals (but NO classifications) will be awarded.
This event is designed to give inexperienced fencers the opportunity to compete in a low-stress event. All USA Fencing rules will be enforced, but with patience and guidance. We reserve the right to withdraw any fencer whom we feel is too experienced for this event.
We will be using "junior referees" for this event to give them real competition experience, as well.
Doors open one hour before close of check-in. Free onsite parking! Free wireless internet!

Current valid USA Fencing membership is NOT required.
All USA Fencing competition rules will be observed.
All fencers are expected to wear the required fencing attire and bring at least two weapons and body cords that meet USA Fencing requirements. There are no exceptions to the attire and equipment rules.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT will be at the discretion of the meet manager and announced prior to the start of the event. If separate men's and women's events are scheduled, they may be combined if there are fewer than six fencers in either event.
Snacks & beverages available for purchase. Pizza will be brought in for lunch at $2/slice.
