Iowa Division 2018 Summer Nationals Qualifier

Preregistration closes at 11:59pm, Sunday April 1st, 2018. NOTE: Times are not set. After preregistration closes, the division will determine which events are to be contested and will generate a schedule of events which limits the duration of this tournament. We will email registrants with their competition times, please be flexible on the day of the Qualifier. Entry fee is $20.00 entrance plus $10.00 per event. Preregistration opens on 01/23/2018. Preregistration closes on 04/01/2018. ########################################################### This tournament is intended as a qualifying path for Iowa Division athletes for Division II, and Division III, Veterans and Youth events (Y12 & Y14) at the 2018 Summer National Championships (June 28th - July 7th) in St. Louis, MO. This tournament is open to all competitive members of USA Fencing in the Iowa Division. However, out of consideration to those fencers who wish to qualify and attend Summer Nationals this July, the board requests that athletes only preregister to compete if they intend to compete in this year's Summer National Championships. Preregistration closes at 11:59pm, Sunday April 1st. After this time, if any event has 3 or fewer registered competitors that event will not be fenced and those (if any) registered competitors will be submitted as qualifying for those events in their respective divisions and groupings. Events with 4 or more preregistered competitors will be fenced to determine qualifiers. All events will follow the rules of USA Fencing. NOTE: In order to qualify for Div2 and Div3 you must compete and place in the top 25% of each event separately. Qualification in Division 2 does not grant automatic qualification to Div3.
