Midwest High School Open

FRED Announces the Midwest High School Open. ========== This is a Recognized USA Fencing High School Event. Details may be found in the USA Fencing handbook. OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL FENCERS. VENUE: STEINBRENNER REC. CENTER, CULVER ACADEMIES, 1300 ACADEMY RD., CULVER, IN 46511 USFA MEMBERSHIP IS NOT REQUIRED - Conductive Lame Bib required for all foil events. ALL LISTED TIMES ARE EASTERN. Members of the Great Lakes HS Fencing Conference fees are $20. Non-member fees are $30 with preregistration. Note - preregistration is required, no walk ups. Awards: Medals for the Top-8 fencers in each event. Best Overall Squad trophies for each weapon (lowest combined total for your top-4 fencers in each event). Non-GLHSFC competitors will represent their competition club (as listed with their USFA membership) OR their high school team. Composite teams will not be recognized. Hotel accommodations may be found in the neighboring towns of Plymouth and Knox. Please double check which time zone the hotel is in. Concessions will be available on site.
