At least 2 athletes must compete in a given RYC age/weapon event to fulfill eligibility requirements for inclusion in the Regional Ranking Points Standings (RRPS). Events may be combined if there are fewer than 5 fencers of one gender.

Bill practiced and taught fencing for over half a century, never missing an opportunity to pick up a blade and test his skill. Win or lose, Bill ended every bout with a handshake and a smile, and we invite you to fence with that spirit in the very first memorial in his honor! Refund due date is 1/6/2018 NO EXCEPTION Fencers must be current competitive members of USA Fencing in good standing to compete in RYC events. USA Fencing new membership paperwork will be available at the door for walk-up registration. All events will be fenced electric with full uniform. Point standings are usually updated weekly by USA Fencing. We use the list available the Wednesday before the event. We update as soon as it is available. Letter classification information is pulled directly from the USA Fencing membership database. AskFred does NOT represent accurate classification. If you earned a new rating at a tournament, and it has not been updated with USA Fencing, you will be seeded on your previous, official, rating and not the new unofficial AskFred rating. Any discrepancies need to be reported to the bout committee prior to the close of registration of your event. Tournament Eligibility ================== Event eligibility is determined by 2017-18 USA Fencing birth year requirements only (not specific day/month). All entrants' age/point eligibility will be verified prior to the tournament, and any ineligible fencers will be notified and removed from the "who's preregistered" list.
