Atlanta Fencing Epee RYC & RJCC is welcoming all Epee Fencers for an exciting Regional Tournament, with great rewards and gifts. Preregistration is required. Registration & Events Fees: ===================== - AskFred Registration and Payment required for Regular Fees entry: $30 for Registration, and $25 for each Event . -Extended Preregistration will end on the 15th of April at 11:59 pm. -Walk in allowed for Triple Fee. All entrants' age/point eligibility will be verified prior to the tournament, and any ineligible fencers will be notified and removed from the "who's preregistered" list. A government issued photo ID with date of birth included 2. A copy of birth certificate 3. Passport To avoid bringing this documentation, USA Fencing has an age verification process. Current Verification Process: An athlete can submit a copy of their birth certificate or passport to the National Office via email (information@usfencing.org), mail or fax and they will verify the DOB in the database. Once the date of birth has been verified, it is indicated on permanent and temporary membership cards. Tournament Format: ============= All events will be one round of pools with 100% promotion to direct eliminations tableau. No fence off for 3rd place for individual events. Equipment Check: ============ -Y10 fencers must fence with blades no longer than 32.5 inches. (Size 0 or 2) -Must have at least two working weapons and two body cords present on-strip. -Full USA Fencing regulation uniform required. Photography and filming is allowed, however NO flash photography is allowed near ongoing competitions. Preregistration opens on 10/14/2017. Preregistration closes on 04/13/2018.
