A fun, informal competition for adult fencers of all skill levels. Both competitive and noncompetitive US Fencing members are welcome for this unsanctioned event, at which no rating will be awarded.
If any weapon has at least 12 competitors of each gender, we may run separate male and female events; otherwise they will be mixed.
9 a.m. Group warm up, led by Viveka
9:30-10:30 a.m. Peer coaching workshop. Unrated fencers will be paired with experienced competitors for drills and one-on-one feedback, with guidance from Viveka
10:30-11: registration/organize for competition
11 a.m-4:30 pm (approximately): Round Robin tournament. Everyone fences everyone a 5 point bout, with no eliminations. You may sign up for one or two weapons, depending on your stamina (if doing two, be prepared to switch between them with little rest).
5 pm (approximately): Social hour at a nearby restaurant. Come hang out with your fellow adult fencers!
