Fencers will first be given a lesson on how tournaments work and then we will fence the events as strip/directors become available. We will start with the event that has the largest number of competitors. Format for Senior events will be 1 round of pools with 100% promotion to 15 touch DE rounds. Format for Youth events will be 1 round of pools with 100% promotion to a best of 3, 5-touch bouts, DE rounds. Top 4 finishers in each event will receive medals. If there is a low number of fencers registered for the tournament we will still have the tournament. However instead of fencing 3 different weapon styles for each age group the fencers of each age group will decide which weapon style to fence by popular vote. If we have time and fencers are willing we can fence a 2nd weapon style per age group.
