Epic Christmas Cup

Welcome to Epic Christmas Cup. The competition is part of the 2016/17 Calgary Fencing League. It is an unsanctioned event for foil and epee fencers. FIRST TIME COMPETITORS are WELCOME! Epic Fencing Club Bay 1, 3320 14 Avenue NE, Calgary www.epicfencing.ca 403 903 1491 coach@epicfening.ca Age restrictions: Y10- 2006 or later Y12- 2004 or later Y14-2002 or later Events Scheduled: Y10 Mixed Foil: 8:30am Y12 Mixed Foil: 8:30am Y14 Mixed Foil: 11:00am Open Mixed Epee: 2:00pm Open Mixed Foil: 2:00pm No registration at the door Tournament Fee: First event: $20 Second Event: $15 payable upon arrival (cash, cheque, debit, credit Tournament Rules, Regulations and Equipment: All times are close of registration, fencing to commence immediately afterward. Y10, Y12 event DE's will be a 10 point bout with two 3 minute periods with a stoppage at 5 hits (whichever comes first). Y14 and Open Events will be a 15 point bout with three 3 minute periods. Open events: After the first round we will make 2 Divisions based on the indicators, then pool again and DE Genders mixed. Blade size not enforced. CFF membership is required to compete at any club tournament. All fencers will be required to: * wear a fencing jacket, plastron, mask and a glove in good condition. * NON-MARKING Athletic Shoes.
