Tournament is at our 5,900 square foot Bucks County location convenient to Philadelphia, New Jersey, and other mid-Atlantic and metropolitan areas with air conditioning and heat. We are proud to hire professional, SafeSport-screened referees. Eleven permanent strips including two Olympic-style aluminum fully grounded strips, state-of-the-art sprung floors, overhead reels, dressing rooms, armory, and Absolute Fencing Gear pro-shop on-site. Comfortable viewing/lounge area with free wi-fi and snacks for sale. Restaurants, ATM, and shopping nearby. Philly division medals awarded to top four in open, women’s, and team events with six or more fencers. Philly division ribbons awarded to top eight fencers in youth events. Trophy awarded to winner and medals to 2nd & 4rd place in youth events with ten or more fencers. All open, mixed, men’s, women’s, team, and single age category youth events are officially sanctioned by the Philadelphia Division of USA Fencing (USFA) unless otherwise noted. Combined-age youth events are officially unsanctioned, but USFA rules govern all events. Fencers must have current USFA competitive membership and all required protective equipment including 800N glove for saber. $35 FOR 1 EVENT (individual) $55 FOR 2 EVENTS (individual) $75 FOR 3 EVENTS (individual) $45 PER TEAM FOR team event $10 EXTRA FOR THOSE WHO REGISTER AT THE DOOR. Age categories: -Mixed, Men's, Women's, Open, & Team Events: for fencers born 2003 or earlier. -Y14 events: for fencers born 2002-2005 -Y12 events: for fencers born 2004-2007 -Y10 events: for fencers born 2006-2009 *NOTE: If less than 4 people preregister for the youth events, they may be combined to make a larger, better event. We will make this call at least 24 hours before the tournament. Coming north, we are just past Dunkin’ Donuts. Entrances and parking can be found both in front of and in back of the building: keep going all the way around. REVISED 2015-16 NO-SHOW POLICY In order that we can continue to hire sufficient professional referees, Liberty Fencing Club is enforcing a new no-show policy for the 2015-16 season. If a fencer fails to check in for a tournament he or she is preregistered for, or if the preregistration is cancelled less than 48 hours before close of check-in, it is considered a no-show. If a fencer no-shows more than once in a season or calendar year, he or she will not be permitted to register for subsequent tournaments without prepaying, and prepaid fees will be forfeited if the fencer no-shows again. If three or more different fencers from a club no-show during the year, LFC reserves the right to require prepayment from all other fencers from that club. 2015-16 PAYMENT POLICY Pre-payment of tournament fees is not required except as per the no-show policy above. Prepaid fees will not be refunded in the event of a no-show or late scratch. If the fencer cancels registration more than 48 hours before the tournament, pre-paid fees may be applied to a future LFC tournament. Pre-paid fees (excluding FRED charges) will be refunded if events are cancelled. Due to the need to accurately hire referees, we are sorry, but there can be no refunds for prepayments.
