CCFC Invitational Inspirational Recreational Non-Denominational Influential Fencing Tournament of Fun, with Entrance for a Song plus a Nominal Fee... Come fence on the Saturday, Stay for the Escrime Sundae! 10:30 am - Mixed Épée 12:00 pm - Mixed Foil 2:00 pm - The Deniza Ospan* Novice foil Mixed Sabre has been CANCELLED, sorry! All events but the Novice Foil are sanctioned by the CFF. so make sure your license is up to date, and bring it to the tournament. Registration is $25 per event. Registration is only $20 for the beginner event. Registering in two events? The second event is $10. The Novice foil event will be open to any fencer who considers themselves a novice - for this event neither a CFF license nor the conductive bib on masks be required. Should there be more of 6 people of each gender in an event, the event may be separated. The tournament will be run out of Royal Oak Middle School on Travino Lane off West Saanich Road. The venue is easily accessible by the 70x and 72 buses from the ferry - if you need any help planning your trip, shoot us an email and I'll be glad to assist! Conductive bibs will be required for all foil participants except for in the novice event; novices with the conductive bib will be at a slight disadvantage. Fencing pants are recommended but not required. Ice cream will be awarded to all participants after they have been eliminated from the tournament, and additional prizes will be given to the top 4 competitors in each event.
