KSA's First Sabre Open at Phoenix. KSA promises to deliver a great event for Sabre Fencers across the region! Featuring referees with International experience! Top level referees will not only referee but help develop emerging referees. Format will depend on number of Fencers 8 or Less: Two rounds of one Pool, double stripped, followed by DEs with all places fenced out. 11-9: One Pool, double stripped, followed by DEs with all places fenced out from the round of 8 15-12: Preliminary Pools of 6s and 7s, If equal number fencers in pools results will be combined to seed DEs. If unequal First round of pools will seed second round, second round will seed DEs. Places Fenced out from the round of 8 16+ Pools of 6s and 7s (if possible) with places fenced out from the round of 16 in DEs Last Weekend to Earn or Renew your rating before the Nationals Deadline! Events Scheduled: Y10 & Y12 Mixed Saber Senior Women's Saber Senior Mixed Saber A's Fence Free $40 Entry Fee Women may fence for free in mixed event with paid entry in women's event Preregistration opens on 02/22/2016. Preregistration closes on 06/10/2016.
