Please join us in the celebration of the 40th YORICK, hosted by the Texas State Fencing Club. The Yorick has been a unique and traditionally strong tournament over its many years. Competitors have included many members of US and foreign National Fencing and Pentathlon Teams. Its namesake is the most famous cranium in all of literature, which became the mascot for the original Southwest Texas State Fencing Society, now the Texas State Fencing Club. We ask you to help wish Yorick a Happy 40th Birthday. He really does not look any older than he did back then. "Will a good time be had by all?" NEED YOU ASK? USA Fencing rules and regulations, including equipment specifications will apply. As of Oct. 1, all sanctioned SABRE events will require an FIE/800 Newton Glove. FEES: $30 registration plus $10 per event when PREREGISTERED. $30 registration plus $20 per event when a WALK-IN. Cash or checks accepted at the door for pre-registrants and walk-ins. If you would like to pay cash, exact change is encouraged for a speedy check in. Make checks payable to Texas State Fencing Club or TSFC. Current USFA membership is required for all events. USFA memberships will be available at the door. Memberships are paid directly to USFA. Please bring a separate payment for your entry fees and USFA membership. Foreign fencers must provide proof of membership in an FIE member federation, or purchase competitive USFA membership at the door. All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability form which can be found on the South Texas Division Web site, or on FRED at https://askfred.net/Committee/Downloads/fileDL.php?file_id=778 . All those under 18 years of age must have the signature of a PARENT or GUARDIAN, NOT A COACH, on waivers and on USFA membership forms.
