The Cyranos Place, C and under Summer Series!!! (Yeah, say that 10 times fast!)
We invite all our C and under fencing buddies to compete for an end of summer award based on cumulative points over three events, the last Saturday in June, July and August.
And, the first one is JUST AROUND THE CORNER, so register FAST!
Heres the inside scoop:
Where: Cyrano's Place, air conditioned facility! Please note, this is a CHANGE OF VENUE for July 25. With the change of venue, entry has also changed to $25
When: I- June 27, II- July 25 and III- August 29. Come to one or all of these events.
Schedule: Foil 9:30, Saber 12:00 Epee 1:00 (Schedule subject to change based on entry to run a timely smooth event.)
Who: USFA members who are rated C and under. Please join/renew your USFA membership online before the event to keep the event running smoothly and swiftly.
Cyranos Place is known for running smooth, timely, friendly competitive events.
Cost: $25 per event for July 25. (Late fee of $5 if not registered by the Wednesday before
For I, on June 27 pre-register by June 24
For II, on July 25 pre-register by July 22
For III, on August 29 pre-register by August 26
How this works, the more people who enter, the more points your result will be worth! Points will be based on the Great Lakes Point system that awards 1 point per entry, then you multiply that by the strength of event. So, if there are 15 entries, and it's a C event, first place gets 15x3= 45 points, second gets (15-1)x3=42 etc. So bring your teammates. Bring your fencing friends! Bringing your fencing nemesis!
