Master of Arms Challenge @ The Point

Second Annual Master of Arms Tournament Come meet the challenge! Fence one, two or all three weapons! Anyone with the courage to fence all three weapons will have the chance to be declared Master of Arms! INDIVIDUAL EVENTS Events will be fenced in the following order: 1. Senior Mixed Epee 2. Senior Mixed Foil 3. Senior Mixed Saber These are sanctioned events. Medals will be awarded to top three places in each weapon. 4. Mixed weapon team (non-sanctioned, if time allows) The person with the most cumulative touches from epee, foil and saber (regardless of where they place in each event) will win a $50 gift certificate redeemable at Absolute Fencing. To be eligible to win the Master of Arms prize you must fence all three individual events. TEAM EVENT Team event is a just for fun challenge with the following rules: Each team must fence all three weapons. You can have one person fence more than one weapon. Teams can be any two or three persons who have fenced in at least one of the other single weapon events of the tournament. Prizes for winning team. All events require competitive USFA membership, birth year 2001 or earlier, and proper fencing attire. NOTE: A limited amount of equipment will be available to borrow if you want to try a weapon for which you are not fully equipped. Please contact the organizers ahead of time if you will need something. Entry fees will be $20 for first event, $5 for each additional event. Refreshments will be provided during breaks in the action.
