Venue is TBD (will be either Kent State or HOF) Qualifier for Junior Olympics in Richmond, VA - February 13-16, 2015 Events Scheduled: Cadet (U17) Women's Epee Cadet (U17) Women's Foil Cadet (U17) Women's Saber Cadet (U17) Men's Epee Cadet (U17) Men's Foil Cadet (U17) Men's Saber Junior (U20) Women's Epee Junior (U20) Women's Foil Junior (U20) Women's Saber Junior (U20) Men's Epee Junior (U20) Men's Foil Junior (U20) Men's Saber Preregistration opens on 09/29/2014. Preregistration closes on 10/31/2014. Athletes are permitted to fence in their Division qualifying competitions only IF: 1) The athlete is a U.S. citizen OR permanent resident and a current competitive member of USA FENCING with an expiration date of 7/31/2015 or later AND 2) The athlete is a member of that division AND 3) The athlete represents the United States in international competition AND 4) The athlete's birth year falls in that age bracket OR 5) The athlete is on the national rolling point standings in the next younger age bracket CADET CHAMPIONSHIPS Fencers must be born between 1998 and 2001 or on the Youth 14 NRPS AND BE on the Cadet NRPS at the regular fee entry deadline for this tournament OR in the top 32 of the Cadet Regional Circuit* point standings at the regular fee entry deadline for these championships OR in the top 8 of the Youth 14 NRPS at the regular fee entry deadline for this tournament for these championships OR in the top 25% (see Table 2.7.4.1 in Chapter 2 .7) in their Division¡¦s Cadet J.O. qualifying competition OR qualified for the Junior JO Championships [BOD, October 2004]. Junior event must occur first. *Event results submitted with only 1 participant listed or fenced mixed will not result in the athlete fulfilling the qualification requirement. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS Fencers must be born between 1995 and 2001 or on the Cadet NRPS AND BE on the Junior NRPS at the regular fee entry deadline for this tournament for these championships OR in the top 16 of the Cadet NRPS at the regular fee entry deadline for this tournament for these championships OR in the top 32 of the Junior Regional Circuit* point standings at the regular fee entry deadline for these championships OR in the top 25% (see Table 2.7.4.1 in Chapter 2 .7) in their Division¡¦s Junior J.O. qualifying competition *Event results submitted with only 1 participant listed or fenced mixed will not result in the athlete fulfilling the qualification requirement.
