NYFA Youth Challenge #3 Epee Y10/12/14

Epee Y10,Y12,Y14 mixed events. $35 for fencers pre-registered through AskFRED; $50 walk-ins at the door. This is one in a series of NYFA Youth Challenges for Y10,Y12,Y14 mixed epee. NYFA Youth Challenge #1: 11/2/14 NYFA Youth Challenge #2: 12/7/14 NYFA Youth Challenge #3: 1/11/15 NYFA Youth Challenge #4: 3/15/15 NYFA Youth Challenge #5: 4/12/15 NYFA Youth Challenge #6: 5/17/15 The top 8 finishers in each event will earn points and medals. At the final Challenge on 5/17/15, the top 3 fencers in each category with the most accumulated points will be eligible to win prizes including a 2015 NYFA Fencing Challenge Champion Trophy. Plan ahead and pre-register to save $15 on walk-in fees $35 if pre-registered through askfred $50 at the door Preregistration closes on 01/10/2014 Events Scheduled: 10:00am: Y10 Mixed Epee 12:00pm: Y12 Mixed Epee 3:00pm: Y14 Mixed Epee Location and directions: NYFA is located on the second floor at 2896 West 12th Street, between Neptune Avenue and Surf Avenue in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The club entrance is in the rear of the building behind Circle of Friends Adult Day Care. By Subway: D F N Q to Stillwell Avenue-Coney Island (50 yards from club) By Car: Belt Parkway East Exit 6 or Belt Parkway West Exit 7B. No parking is allowed in the building's lot but there's a lot next door and some street parking. Age Requirement Y10=2004-2007 Y12=2002-2005 Y14=2000-2003 Events generally start 30-45 minutes after close of registration. Registration closes 30 min before the event. All fencers must bring their current USFA card or be prepared to join at the door. USFA membership cost $70, please bring a check payable to USFA or have credit card number.
