So you say you want something different? Say you want more for your money? Say you want to have more fun and be mentally stimulated, well tell you what I am going to do, you may call me a jack %#& when this is over, but I have been called worse. Format Lets say we have 30 entries, then we will have a round of pools(5 pools 6 in a pool), after the pools, based on the seeding after the pools, the field will be broken into 3 person teams(10 teams), and from there we will fence a Direct Elimination 45 touch relay team event. Once the team event is over, the members of the winning team will then fence each other 5 touches for the medals. This event will have just as much, and perhaps more fencing than a normal open. You will make new friends for you have no idea who will be on your team. You will exchange knowledge with your team mates and perhaps improve your or their fencing. You may even have more fun than any fencer is allowed to. This is a USFA event, so membership and full uniform is required, due to the awesome format, no ratings can be given out. We will commence fencing about 15 minutes after close of registration, DO NOT BE TARDY, we run a tight ship at Hooked on Fencing, if you're late we will have sailed with out you !!! Event: Mixed Epee/ Individual and team Entry Fee $20 dollars if paid through askFRED $30 at the door. Awards Awards to top 3 out of pools, then awards to first place team, and awards to the the team members after they fence off! Preregistration opens on 07/16/2014. Preregistration closes on 08/29/2015.
