2012 Nick Toth Open Hosted by the United States Air Force Academy LOCATION: USAFA Cadet Gymnasium, East Gym SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The venue and weapons check will open at 8:00 AM each day. Times listed below indicate the opening and closing of registration/check-in for each specific event. Saturday, September 8, 2012 8:30-9:30 AM: Senior Men's Epee 8:30-9:30 AM: Senior Women's Saber 9:30-10:30 AM: Y12 Men's Epee 9:30-10:30 AM: Y12 Women's Epee 11:30-12:30 PM: Senior Men's Saber 11:30-12:30 PM: Senior Women's Epee Sunday, September 9, 2012 8:30-9:30 AM: Senior Men's Foil 8:30-9:30 AM: Y14 Men's Epee 8:30-9:30 AM: Y14 Women's Epee 9:00-10:00 AM: Y10 Men's Epee 9:00-10:00 AM: Y10 Women's Epee 11:00-12:00 PM: Senior Women's Foil 12:00-1:00 PM: Cadet (U17) Men's Epee 12:00-1:00 PM: Cadet (U17) Women's Epee Preregistration opens on 7/14/2012. Preregistration closes on 9/7/2012. REGISTRATION: Entry Fee: $35 fee per event. Included with fee is an event T-shirt. Preregister on askFRED, then pay on the day of the competition. Please make checks payable to AFAAA. Separate registration and payment for each event is required. (If a fencer wants to fence in 2 events, 2 checks are required). CONTROL CHECKS: Masks and body cords will be checked by the armorers. The bib is now target for all US Fencing foil events. Please bring proof of USFA membership or you will not be allowed to compete. COMPETITION FORMAT: Standard USFA pool format with 100% advancing to direct elimination with no repechage.
