The Regional Open Circuit (ROC) is designed to promote and develop strong regional tournaments for the Open/Division I-A fencer who seeks competitive opportunities beyond the local and sectional level but below the NAC Division I level. Points are awarded to the top 32 places at ROC events, however, the ROC points list is separate from the National Rolling Points List. (Foreign fencers may compete though they are not counted as part of the field for qualification purposes as they can not fence summer nationals)
The Charm City Classic is a USA Fencing Regional Open Circuit sponsored by Maryland Division and the UMBC Fencing Club. Top 8 in each event qualify for DIV 1A at 2011 Summer Nationals. For details about the new Div 1A qualification paths, please see:
