The Rose and Gold is an open tournament and qualifier for Fencing Masters NYC event on November 17, 2010 ( see http://www.fencingmastersnyc.com/ for details). Registration: $10. Event fees: $10 EXCEPT Fencing Masters NYC qualifier. FENCING MASTERS NYC INFORMATION: Event fee: $40, which includes a ticket to the fencing masters event in NYC. Top 8 finalists get a fencing masters event tshirt. A portion of the proceeds of the fencing masters event goes to support our Olympic athletes and the winner of the qualifying event gets an automatic entry to the open saber event at the 2011 Arnold fencing classic (some restrictions apply). The winner of the qualifier will fence to earn the a chance in the round of 8 at the Fencing Masters NYC event against either Aldo Montano or Nicolas Lopez. Events Scheduled: Mixed Foil Mixed Fencing Masters NYC Qualifying Saber Y8 Mixed Foil Y8 Mixed Saber Y10 & Y12 Mixed Foil Y10 & Y12 Mixed Saber Preregistration opens on 08/29/2010. Preregistration closes on 10/01/2010.
