FCMC SANCTIONED Unrated & Open Saber

This is an official USA Fencing/NJ Division sanctioned event. Fencing will be Inside. Doors and windows will be open and fans will be on to maximize ventilation. Events will be held on 2 strips so tournament may take longer to complete. Spectators and Coaches may attend (in a fair manner) as long as inside occupancy limits are complied to. When not competing, please plan to wait in your car or outside. The Bout committee will notify you when you are scheduled to fence. Everyone is required to wear personal face masks (approved by USA Fencing) at all times while inside, including Fencers while Fencing. If HS age or below, must be NJ resident (per NJ Law). Check-in deadline times are subject to change based upon the number of entrants. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before posted deadline. Please arrive to the club dressed in whites (jacket, plastron and knickers). ***PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN RECEIVE EMAILS THROUGH ASKFRED AS I WILL COMMUNICATE ANY CHANGES THROUGH THIS PLATFORM*** Unrated Men's: 12:30p Unrated Women's: 1p Open Men's: 3p Open Women's: 3:30p Events will be mixed if less than 6 Women or Men sign up Fencers must be born 2007 or earlier PREGRGISTRATION CLOSES on 3/20/2021. NO WALK-ONS. EVERYONE MUST BE PREREGISTERED. TOURNAMENT FEE is $40. All payment at the door (cash, check, Venmo or Zelle - no credit card). All fencers must allow temperature to be taken upon arrival. This is an official USA Fencing-sanctioned event, open to fencers born 2007 or earlier and is regulated by USA Fencing rules. All fencers must wear required fencing attire (above-the-knee fencing socks and 800N sabre glove are included) and have 2 working weapons and 2 working body cord sets. There will be weapons check for mask, glove and lame. Equipment vendor will be on site with limited selection. Current USA Fencing membership is required. FENCERS ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER 1 LOCAL TOURNAMENT AS A NON-COMPETITIVE MEMBER.
