Metro Div Summer Nationals Foil Qualifiers

Registration Closes at 11:59PM ET the Wednesday before the event. WILL BE RESCHEDULED AGAIN we'll update with further info & reopen the event once we can officially set a new date. The National Office is expected to make a determination in May about whether or not Summer Nationals will move forward as well as guidelines for when and how qualifiers should be held. We'll email current registrants with further info when we have something solid to share and will reopen registration at that point. Times Events Scheduled (close of registration) for JUNE TBA: Div II/III Men's Foil 10:00 am Div II/III Women's Foil 11:30 am Y14 Men's Foil 1 pm Y14 Women's Foil 2 pm The above times are NOT start times! Events generally start fencing 30 minutes after close of registration. First event of the day will start sooner. Doors open about 45 minutes before close of registration for the first event. Entry & Eligibility $50 pre-registered on AskFred (your name appears on the list here) / $80 walk-ins (never signed up on Fred) at the door. We encourage you to pre-register. Unpaid entries will be deleted periodically. Because this is a qualifier, it is open ONLY to members of the Metropolitan Division. If USA Fencing lists you under New Jersey, Long Island, Westchester, Alaska, or any other division you won't be able to fence in this event. If you have moved, please contact the national office to change your division of record *prior* to the event. You must belong to USA Fencing with proof of membership in order to compete. Join or renew at http://member.usfencing.org/ If you need to join USA Fencing on-site, you will need a separate check or credit card # for their form and will incur an additional fee for a paper entry; we strongly encourage you to complete your membership ahead of time. National age eligibility requirements will be enforced; however, fencers with points in the next lower age category who do not otherwise meet age eligibility are allowed to fence; e-mail info@brooklyfencing.com to request addition to the competition. (For instance, a fencer with Y14 points will be allowed to fence Cadets.) This is a USA Fencing and Metropolitan Division sanctioned event. Ratings will be awarded where earned. Pre payment on Fred is required for preregistration; walk-ins bring cash/cehck as no credit cards will be accepted at the door for entry fees. NO REFUNDS! If you need to withdraw for any reason, you must notify us via e-mail (info@brooklynfencing.com) by midnight of the Friday prior to the event in order to receive a credit for a future event. Competition Format One round of seeding pools with 100% promotion to direct elimination; for 12 or fewer fencers, third place qualifying spot will be fenced off.
