Events Scheduled: D & Under Mixed Epee Mixed Epee D & Under Mixed Foil Mixed Foil D & Under Mixed Saber Mixed Saber Preregistration opens on 10/22/2019. Preregistration closes on 01/21/2020. Tournament Fees First event: $35 Subsequent events: $25/each A-rated fencers will receive a $10 discount in their respective events. Collegiate teams that provide strips will have fencers receive a $5 discount on their first event. Fees can be paid in cash or via check made to: Fencing Club at UGA. Walk-in fencers will be accepted at double fees for each event. Preregistration on AskFRED must be complete prior to January 21, 2020. All events are sanctioned. You will need a valid photo I.D. along with proof of current USFA membership. If you do not have a printed USFA membership confirmation or card, you will need your USFA membership number in hand during registration. Collegiate Competitive members need to have a verified membership prior to close of registration. If the fencer is a minor without a driver’s license or state-issued I.D., a school I.D., passport, or birth certificate copy will serve as identity verification. We are required by the USFA to verify identity of each fencer prior to competition. All fencers will be required to sign a waiver prior to participation. Any fencers under the age of 18 will need to have a completed waiver in hand at registration if not attending the event with a parent or legal guardian. Masks and gloves will be checked during registration. Each fencer must have an extra body cord (mask cords where necessary) and an additional weapon near the strip. All foil fencers with chest protectors must comply with the soft cover rule introduced last season. Fencers competing in multiple events on the same day should check in for all events at once. P-Card rules will be used in situations of noncom. The organizers reserve the right to implement a cutoff no stricter than 75% promotion to DEs if above 80 fencers are in a given event.
