Fencer's Derby 2020

Come compete at the Number One Foil Program in Texas. We have many events available such as Senior Mixed Foil, Y10, Y12, Y14. Hope to see everyone there. Y8 Mixed Foil 10:00 AM Y12 Mixed Foil 10:00 AM Senior Mixed Foil 12:30 PM Y10 Mixed Foil 12:30 PM Y14 Mixed Foil Birth Year Eligibility 2019-2020 season: Y10 2009-2012 Y12 2007-2010 Y14 2005-2008 TOURNAMENT FORMAT All events will be one round of pools with 100% promotion to direct eliminations. Pools of 6 or 7 (whenever possible; however, equal pools sizes with 100% of the fencers promoted to a DE tableau. For Y10 direct elimination bouts are 10 touch bouts (2 three minute periods with 1 minute break in between). During the 1 minute break, ONE person, designated by the fencer (a teammate, coach, or parent), may be on the strip with the fencer. For Y12, Y14 and Senior events, DE bouts are 15 touch bouts (3 three minute periods with a 1 minute break between). During the 1 minute breaks, ONE person, designated by the fencer (a teammate, coach, or parent), may be on the strip with the fencer. Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Preregistration opens on 09/20/2018. Preregistration closes on 04/26/2020.
