VFC would like to hold its 1st Unsanctioned Youth FOIL Tournament on Sun (May 26). This tournament is to provide both parents and fencers the opportunity to learn about what goes on at a tournament and get your fencer ready to compete for the upcoming season or in the future... Scores will “count.” There will be referees. “Podium ceremony” for the top 8 finishes and prizes… DATE: Sunday (May 26) TIME: 9:30am ATTENDEES: Open to Beginner / Intermediate fencers and Non-Members FEE: NO refunds and NO credits $25 – if signed up and payment is received ON or BEFORE May 10 $30 – if signed up and payment is received between May 11 to May 25 $35 – WALK IN and Non-Members WHAT YOU NEED: Complete Fencing Attire and Equipment & Current USFA Membership Mask, blade, glove, chest plate, plastron, full jacket, lame, knickers, body wire, head cord, socks that go up to knees TO SIGN UP: email vfencingclub@gmail.com with your fencer’s: name, age, and # of months/year experience Preregistration opens on 04/26/2019.
