UR Fencing Unrated Spring Open

All experience levels welcome, USFA membership not required. *****LOCATION***** ZORNOW COURT C in in the Robert B. Goergen Athletic Center (NOT Spurrier Gym, where are tournaments usually are) AWARDS Trophies awarded to the top winners of each weapon! FEES 1 event: $15.00 Each additional event: $5.00 EQUIPMENT Fencers must wear plastrons, athletic shoes, and must cover their entire leg. Jeans are prohibited. Foils and sabres must have lames. Foils must have an electric bib on their mask. Masks will be checked prior to competition. Since this location is far from our fencing closet, we cannot lend out gear. --- LIABILITY All fencers must sign a liability waiver. Any fencers who are under 18 years old must have a parent/guardian sign on their behalf. If the waiver is not completed, you will not be allowed to fence. All fencers must be at least 13 years or older. --- DIRECTIONS For the GPS: Intercampus Dr, Rochester, NY You may either park in Intercampus Lot on your right or Library Lot on your left. From Library Lot, with Rush Rhees Library on your left, walk down Library Road towards Wilson Blvd. Stop when you see the clock tower (located in Dandelion Square on the map below) on your left. Walk towards the clock and on your right is the Goergen Athletic Center. Once inside, follow the signs to Zornow Court C. You will be required to fill out a waiver at the front desk.
