OCFC Rising Stars: Y8 - Y10 - Y12 (Unrated Foil)

Orange County Fencing Center is hosting a tournament for Unrated (U) foil fencers.  Preregistration opens on 11/22/2018. Preregistration closes on 2/2/2019 (extended). USFA Competitive membership is required. All events will be fenced electronically. Events Scheduled: (Check in Close times) - Please check and take note of the tentative check in times listed below. Final check in times will be updated 1/31/19 after pre-registration deadline. 9:00 AM - Unrated Y12 Mixed Foil 11:00 AM - Unrated Y8 Mixed Foil 1:30 AM - Unrated Y10 Mixed Foil Eligible Birth Years: Y8 - 2010-2012 Y10 - 2008-2011 Y12 - 2006-2009 Classification: Every fencer who is registered with the USFA is either unrated or has earned a rating by competing in qualified, USFA-sanctioned events. Ratings go from A (best) to E, and U indicates an unrated fencer. So your child starts out with a U rating, as does every other USFA fencer.  Competitive membership:  United States Fencing Association (USFA) required COMPETITIVE membership for current season 2018-19.
