Events Scheduled: Saturday January 19, 2019 D & Under Mixed Foil - 8:30 am Mixed Foil - 1:00 pm D & Under Mixed Saber - 10:00 am Mixed Saber - 2:30 pm Sunday January 20, 2019 D & Under Mixed Epee - 8:30 am Mixed Epee - 12:30 pm Preregistration closes at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 17th, 2019. Failure to preregister will result in the event fee being doubled. Tournament Fees First event: $35 Subsequent events: $25/each A-rated fencers have a $10 discount in their respective events. Collegiate teams that bring strips will receive a discount of $5/fencer on their first event Fees can be paid in cash or via check made to: Fencing Club at UGA. This is a USFA sanctioned tournament. You will need a valid photo I.D. along with proof of current USFA membership. If you do not have a printed USFA membership confirmation or card, you will need your USFA membership number in hand during registration. Collegiate Competitive members need to have a verified membership prior to close of registration. If the fencer is a minor without a driver’s license or state-issued I.D., a school I.D., passport, or birth certificate copy will serve as identity verification. We are required by the USFA to verify identity of each fencer prior to competition. Masks and gloves will be checked during registration. Each fencer must have at least two body cords (mask cords where necessary). All foil fencers with chest protectors must comply with the soft cover rule introduced this season. Fencers competing in multiple events on the same day should check in for all events at once. Any event above 80 competitors may be held to a minimum 75% advancement to Direct Elimination bouts.
