EVENTS: TIME - DOORS OPEN TIME - EVENT 1 BAY CUP TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION FEE: $30 non-member fee per tournament (covers multiple events per day) This is a Bay Cup tournament. In addition to the event fee, a Bay Cup Tournament Registration Fee is required for all non-Bay Cup members. The Bay Cup tournament registration fee is waived for season members. Season membership is a better deal for those who plan to compete in more than 4 Bay Cup tournaments over the course of the season. Bay Cup fees pay for medals, year-end prizes, administration and management of Bay Cup operations, referee development, and tournament subsidies to the host clubs to help with their operating expenses. Teams may be mixed or single sex. Senior age event: open to 13 and up! Each match consists of four 5-touch, 3-minute bouts to maximum match score of 20. Bout order is Team A fencer 1 vs Team B fencer 1 Team A fencer 2 vs Team B fencer 2 Team A fencer 1 vs Team B fencer 2 Team A fencer 2 vs Team B fencer 1 Final competition format will be decided based on number of teams entered. Medals awarded to top 3 teams. Prizes for top placing men's team, women's team, and mixed team.
