2nd Annual Fight Strong! Fencing for the Cause

Western PA Division presents the 2nd Annual Fight Strong! Fencing for the Cause. The proceeds from this tournament will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Events (Close of Registration): Open Mixed Foil - 9:30 AM Open Mixed Saber - 12:00 PM Open Mixed Epee - 1:30 PM Open Women's Foil - 2:00 PM Event Fees: $20 registration fee, $20 per event Late fee of $10 for at the door registration We will be accepting cash, check, and credit cards. Equipment Check: We will be checking masks, gloves, and cords. Foil masks must be used for foil events. Foil masks cannot be used for epee events. Saber requires an 800N glove. Chest protectors for foil fencers must adhere to the new USA Fencing rule of competition m.25.4 requiring the outside of the chest protector to be covered with a soft material and bear the appropriate SEMI technical mark. All fencers must be current competitive members of USA Fencing in good standing and show proof of membership at check-in. Check-in will not be completed without proof of current membership. Fight Strong! t-shirts will be available during the event. All participants that pre-register by September 1st will receive a free t-shirt. T-shirts will be available to all others for a nominal fee.
