2017 Nick Toth Open Hosted by the United States Air Force Academy LOCATION: USAFA Cadet Gymnasium, Center Gym SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The venue and weapons check will open at 8:00 AM each day. Times listed below indicate the opening and closing of registration/check-in for each specific event. Saturday, September 30, 2017 8:30-9:30 AM: Senior Men's Epee 9:00-10:00 AM: Senior Men's Foil 9:30-10:30 AM: Senior Men's Saber 11:30-12:30 PM: Junior Men's Epee 12:30-1:30 PM: Junior Men's Foil 12:30-1:30 PM: Junior Men's Saber Sunday, October 1, 2017 8:30-9:30 AM: Senior Women's Epee 9:00-10:00 AM: Senior Women's Foil 9:30-10:30 AM: Senior Women's Saber 9:30-10:30 AM: Y14 Women's Epee 9:30-10:30 AM: Y14 Men's Epee 10:30-11:30 PM: Y12 Mixed Epee 11:30-12:30 PM: Junior Women's Epee 12:30-1:30 PM: Junior Women's Foil 12:30-1:30 PM: Junior Women's Saber REGISTRATION: Entry Fee: $40 fee per event. Preregister on askFRED, then pay on the day of the competition (cash or check). Separate registration and payment for each event is required. (If a fencer wants to fence in 2 events, 2 checks are required.) CONTROL CHECKS: Masks and body cords will be checked by the armorers. The bib is now target for all US Fencing foil events. All other equipment will be tested on the strip. USFA RULES: All USFA rules will be enforced in the tournament. Please bring proof of current USFA membership, or you will not be allowed to compete. COMPETITION FORMAT: Standard USFA pool format with 100% advancing to direct elimination with no repechage. QUESTIONS: abdel.salem@usafa.edu
