Swords Pre Season Boot Camp

Get ready for the next season! Held at our Pasadena location, and taught by Coach Tigran Shaginian and Coach Nana Demirchian with participation from top ranked fencers. The camp is for all ages of intermediate to competitive fencers. Coach Tigran has been a top level epee coach for over 20 years with several fencers making the National team in Cadet and Junior most notably Stephen Ewart, Joey Rafidi, Madeline Kehl, Kevin Mo, Michael Raynis, Raymond Schorr, and Stafford Moosekian. Coach Nana is joining the Swords team and has a prestigious history of high level coaching from youth to the senior level. Her most notable student who won Gold in every Junior Women's Epee National event 1 season is Kasia Nixon who recently graduated from Princeton and continues to fence on the senior level. We welcome her experience and knowledge for fencers of all levels. Both coaches are responsible for helping their students get recruited to top colleges and universities such as Harvard, Yale, MIT, Columbia, Princeton, Stanford, Notre Dame, UCSD, Air Force Academy, and many more. We will focus on preparing for the new 2022-2023 season. Strategy, conditioning, bouting, technique, and mental preparation will be focused on during the camp. Please bring all gear plus water and food for the camp. Private lessons are available and can be scheduled with the coaches. Please email swordsinc@yahoo.com to book. Monday - Friday Morning session: 9-12 with a lunch break at 12 pm til 2 pm, Afternoon session: 2-4 Lunch is not provided. Daily $150 Full week $600 Preregistration required. Payment due 1st day with either cash or check. Preregistration opens on 08/02/2022. Preregistration closes on 08/07/2022.
