Camp is led by guest coach, Abram Gregory!
Coach Abram is St. Louis Fencing Center’s epee coach. He has coached at clubs in New York and Massachusetts. In addition to coaching, Coach Abram previously fenced NCAA for Vassar College and continues to compete in Division I tournaments nationally.

Coach Abram will lead the participants in footwork and conditioning, drills to build specific fencing skills, competitive bouting and individual coaching feedback. He looks forward to sharing his learnings as an NCAA competitor and professional coach as he discusses strategy and tactics with the participants. It will be a great week designed to build competitive fencing skills and have a lot of fun! Fencers will be introduced to:

Conditioning principles for fencing with accessible workouts and footwork drills

Building gameplans and decision-making mid-bout

Developing an area of excellence facilitated by preparations and supporting actions

Film analysis of high-end bouting

Navigating the college recruitment process

Foil Session is 1:00p - 4:00p

Epee Session is 6:00p - 9:00p
