Competition Clinic for TWC, FIA, Salle Palasz and UMBC Fencers. We are charging $5 to cover ordering lunch for clinic attendees, but not a regular clinic cost. 11:30 - 6:00
We have several fencers preparing for circuit events, and other fencers that we would like to see begin competing in events. This clinic will attempt to help prepare our fencers for their upcoming competitions, whether it is a major circuit event, or their first local competition.
This clinic will look at:
-- adding additional actions which will be useful in competition
-- dealing with issues our fencers routinely run into in tournaments
-- video review
-- how to prepare for competitions
-- decision making and adjusting to the referee or your opponent in competition
-- improving footwork and movement
