USFCA Coaches Clinic at Worcester Fencing

This is an Introductory and Intermediate fencing coaching clinic featuring experienced and professional USFCA fencing masters Bill Shipman and Ron Miller. Assisting with the clinic will be Paul Sise and John Krauss. Cost is $200 if registered by April 1st, $250 thereafter. Preregistration opens on 01/02/2020. Preregistration closes on 04/01/2020. This is an Introductory and Intermediate fencing coaching clinic featuring experienced and professional USFCA fencing masters Bill Shipman and Ron Miller. It will be held at Worcester Fencing Club on May 2nd and 3rd 2020. The focus will be Epee and Sabre. The clinic will start with safety and professionalism, and coaching the fundamental actions. Coaches then practice putting them into group and individual lessons, given examples of each, and learn how to include footwork as a tactical element in the lessons. More advanced material will also be covered, including student led open-eyes lessons and the use of preparations. Schedule: Saturday 12:30pm to 7:30pm Sunday 9am to 6pm. Prices range from about $90-$120. USFCA Assistant Moniteur, Moniteur, Prevot and Master practical exams in all weapons will be available by advance arrangement.
