USFCA Moniteur Exams

Fencing Master Paul Sise will be available for USFCA Moniteur practical exams in foil, epee, and saber at Keystone College. This will be concurrent with Bruce Gillman's referee seminar, listed here: https://askfred.net/Clinics/moreInfo.php?clinic_id=45967 Start time is 10AM Keystone College, Howell Activity Room in Hibbard Campus Center 1 College Rd, La Plume, PA 18440 Exams will be given throughout the day. Please be flexible concerning the schedule. Candidates must wear full fencing uniform or coaching equipment. (No shorts, exposed arms, etc.) Students will not necessarily be provided. Bring a student, or arrange for a student prior to the practical exam. Sign up if you wish to take a Moniteur lesson, and email paul.sise@pioneerfencing.com concerning which weapon or weapons you will be testing in. Prior to taking the practical exams, candidates must be: 1) current members of the USFCA 2) have paid for and passed the Moniteur written exam. If you are interested in testing in more than one weapon, the written exam only needs to be passed once. You do not need to take it again to take a second or third practical exam. 3) Bring proof of passing the written exam to the practical exam site. (print out and bring your score) 4) You MUST bring proof of paying for the practical exam to the practical exam itself. (Print out and bring your receipt.) Paul Sise is a USFCA certified Fencing Master and is a current member of the USFCA's Certification and Accreditation Board. He was a 2017 and 2019 Coaches Academy staff member and is the author of the textbook A Basic Fencing Companion which is used by Vassar and Temple University.
