Referee Clinic with Jonathan Moss
Come and join us for the Referee Clinic facilitated by Jonathan Moss and Portland Fencing Center on November 16th. The Clinic, will help fencers, coaches and parents to interpret these rules and learn how to apply them.

Seminar Cost and Time
Cost of the seminar is $75 paid at the door with a check or cash. Please pre-register in askfred now so we can have a prediction of number of attendants.
Northeast Division fencers will be reimbursed the cost of the clinic to fencers who takes it, pass the written exam, and then referees for at least two division tournaments. Saturdays seminar is from 8:30am-5pm.

Study guide and Rule book
This can be found on USA Fencing webite. Download and study before seminar and prepare questions for Jon.

On line test
All participants are required to take online test but it is recommended you take the seminar first

Practical Observation
Practical observation needs to take place under "competition conditions" and Jon will give guidance on how to make that work.

Who is Jonathan Moss
Jon Moss has been a national fencing referee since 1979 and previous, longstanding member of the Fencing Officials Commission (FOC). He was responsible for referee development. Jon became an international referee in 1996 and has been a referee at the Paralympic Games in 1996, 2004, and 2008. Jon also has been a referee at the World Cup since 1996. Most recently Jon became a member of the International Parafencing Referee Commission in 2010.
