Please join us for a fencing competition clinic. We will focus mostly on youth foil and epee fencing but this is applicable for all weapons and all age groups. The goal of this clinic is to help share some of the experience and advice that can help you and your fencer maximize your success in this sport. We will discuss ways of choosing events that maximize your experience. We will spend most of the time discussing how to actively manage a tournament from the pool rounds into the direct elimination table including how to use pool sheets, how to help plan strategy and tactics, and how to encourage your fencer during breaks. We encourage families to come together for this clinic because it is a collaborative effort. These tips will help both advanced fencers (we are still using these methods) and beginners (let's get you started right). You don't need to know how to fence to help support your fencer. This clinic is open to all fencers from any club. We are hoping to have this clinic before the fencing season gets busy. The week after this clinic there are youth and adult events in our region.
